Fountain of Youth Park
The Fountain of Youth Park is a
mysterious and unique place. A fully
fledged archeological park, the Fountain
of Youth Park is believed to be the site
where Ponce de Leon first landed in the
New World in 1513. Numerous artifacts
can be seen here, in addition to the
famed Fountain of Youth, that Ponce de
Leon went in search of after hearing
legends and tales of it from the Bimini
Indians he encountered on the islands. |
The Old
Jail
One of many historic St Augustine
Attractions, the Old Jail St Augustine,
is one of the oldest structures still
remaining unchanged in St Augustine

remaining 19th century jailhouses still
standing. Henry Flagler built the city's
first jail after investing an enormous

The Colonial Spanish Quarter is a living

life was like for those that first
settled in the Old City, and you can

much as they would have if it were still

Lightner Museum

trot; you can simply visit one of St

Attractions, the Lightner Museum. The
Lightner Museum is a three-floor museum
filled with antiquities from the
Victorian period. Hailed as the
"Smithsonian of the South" the Lightner
Museum is one of the most beautiful
structures as it was once the Hotel
Alcazar during St Augustine's days as a

Marineland FL Dolphin Conservation
Center
The Marineland FL Dolphin Conservation
Center is often one of the St Augustine
Attractions that is overlooked; however,
it is a dolphin lover's paradise. These
beautiful sea mammals live at the center
and, for the general admission price,
you can watch them frolic through the
multiple aquarium windows. Purchase
additional packages and you can feed
them, swim with them, and even watch as
trainers interact with them and teach
them new tricks. Marineland FL opened
long ago and was an infamous St
Augustine Attraction for a long time.
After a successful period it closed, but
today it has reopened and is the only
place to swim with the dolphins in St
